Author Daniel Handler Donates to Help with Schools

Daniel Handler AKA "Lemony Snicket" is the author of the A Series of Unfortunate Events and All the Wrong Questions books.

"Handler grew up attending San Francisco public schools, graduating from Lowell High School. Last week, Handler and his wife Lisa Brown pledged a donation of $10,000 to the San Francisco Unified School District “to help eliminate the systemic inequities laid bare & exacerbated by COVID-19.” The pledge is a matching donation, and Brown’s tweet announcing the pledge called for others to join them in contributing."

What an amazing author! I'm glad to hear that he is contributing to help schools in his community that are struggling. Hopefully other authors and famous people will follow this astounding example. Great job, Daniel!
