"The Rainbow Fish" by Marcus Pfister
“The Rainbow Fish is an international bestseller and a modern classic. Eye-catching foilstamping, glittering on every page, offers instant child-appeal, but it is the universal message at the heart of this simple story about a beautiful fish, who learns to make friends by sharing his most prized possessions, that gives the book its lasting value.”
You will have to return this book to the library; everything else is yours to keep!
Go Online to: https://storylineonline.net/books/the-rainbow-fish/
You will have the book read to you by actor Ernest Borgnine. He did such a great job; we hope you enjoy his reading as much as we did!

Three Rainbow Fish
(Tune: "Three Blind Mice")

Did you ever see such a shimmery sight as
Three rainbow fish?
Did You Ever See A Fishy?
(Tune: "Did You Ever See A Lassie?")
Did you ever see a fishy, a fishy, a fishy?
Did you ever see a fishy
Swim this way and that?
Swim this way and that way
And that way and this way?
Did you ever see a fishy swim this way and that?
Rainbow Fish Lives in the Ocean
(Tune: "The Bear Went Over the Mountain")
Rainbow Fish lives in the ocean
Rainbow Fish lives in the ocean.
Rainbow Fish lives in the ocean….
His neighbor is the seahorse.
The seahorse lives in the ocean
The seahorse lives in the ocean.
The seahorse lives in the ocean….
His neighbor is the shark.
The shark lives in the ocean
The shark lives in the ocean.
The shark lives in the ocean….
Her neighbor is the jellyfish.
(Can continue with more sea creatures: jellyfish, octopus, starfish, dolphin, etc.)
The Waves in the Sea
(Tune: The Wheels on the Bus)
The waves in the sea go up and down,

Up and down, up and down,
The waves in the sea go up and down,
All day long.

(swim hands around as fish)
The crabs in the sea go click, click, click…
(click fingers)
The sharks in the sea go snap, snap, snap…
(hold two hands together to form a mouth, snap open and shut)
