Reading Paws With Natty

On Saturday, March 26th from 10am-12pm, children can sign up to read aloud to a certified therapy dog to improve reading skills and have fun reading with a friendly dog at the same time! Kids can read to Australian Shepherd Natty (Charlie's friend!) in 20-minute slots; six slots are available. Slots can be shared for kids who want to come in together. Call come in, or register online. FREE!

You will get to read to Natty and Mrs. Schmidt, Swanton Schools 3rd through 8th grade Gifted Intervention Specialist teacher.

Just like her friend Charlie, Natty has been trained to provide comfort and support. Therapy dogs can help create a stress free environment for students with reading or learning difficulties. Therapy dogs are helpful in relaxing students who struggle with behavior as well.
