"The Kiss That Missed" By David Melling

"One evening, when the King is in a hurry, his goodnight kiss to the Little Prince goes astray. After rattling around the Prince's bedroom, it flies out the window and floats into the dark forest, where it has no business to be. The King decides to do something about it. He orders the Knight to climb on his horse, ride into the forest, and bring back the kiss. But the forest is filled with spooky things that frighten both the Knight and his horse. How will they ever succeed in bringing the kiss back to the castle?"

You will have to return this book to the library; everything else is yours to keep!

You will have the book read to you by actor Karan Brar. He did such a great job; we hope you enjoy his reading as much as we did!

I'm A ...

(Tune: "I'm a Little Teapot")

I'm a knight in armor, look at me.

See how shiny I can be.

With my visor up my eyes you'll see.

But with it down it protects me.

I'm a little dragon, strong and stout.

Here is my tail and here is my snout.

If you get me upset, you better watch out!

I'll give you something to shout about!

Little Dragon

Little dragon counts to three. Little dragon bends one knee.

Little dragon whistles and sings. Little dragon flaps his wings.

Little dragon touches his toes, Little dragon scratches his nose.

Little dragon makes a funny face, Little dragon runs in place.

Little dragon lays on the floor. Little dragon starts to snore.

Come To The Castle

(Tune: “Down by the Station”)

Come to the castle early in the morning,

See the lords and ladies all in a row.

See the prince and princess leaving in the carriage.

People throw confetti as they go.

Come to the castle early in the evening.

See the king and queen sitting on their thrones.

See the knights in armor coming in from battle.

See the castle dragons rattling their bones.

The Queen of Hearts

The Queen of Hearts, she made some tarts,

All on a summer's day.

The Knave of Hearts, he stole the tarts,

And took them clean away.

The King of Hearts, called for the tarts,

And scolded the knave full bore.

The Knave of Hearts, brought back the tarts,

And vowed he'd steal no more.

Five Green Dragons

Five green dragons making such a roar.

One danced away and then there were four.

Four green dragons dancing around a tree.

One danced away and then there were three.

Three green dragons dancing around you.

One danced away and then there were two.

Two green dragons dancing in the sun.

One danced away and then there was one.

One green dragon having lots of fun

She danced away and then there were none.
